Auto or Ask me

Kind of workDefault
Site fixes (titles, descriptions, alt text, schema, broken links)Auto
New articlesAuto
Changes to existing pages (rewrites, refreshes, FAQs)Ask me
Off-site draftsAuto (drafts only, never posted)

Change these in Autopilot, Settings. You can also choose whether articles publish live or as drafts in your CMS, and pause everything at once.

What always asks

New pages and redirects of live pages always wait for your approval, whatever your settings say.

Undo

Every change is read back from the live page after it ships and logged with a before and after. Undo restores the page exactly as it was, and never overwrites edits you made yourself afterwards. Undo works even while Autopilot is paused.
